Welcome to SKLLS (www.sklls.app). We take the protection of your personal data seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal information.

2. What Data We Collect

2.1 Account Data

When you create an account via Sign in with Apple, we collect:

• Your Apple ID identifier (for authentication — we do not receive or store your email address unless you choose to share it)

2.2 Usage & Progress Data

As you use the app, we store:

• Skills you create and their sub-skills
• Self-assessment ratings (1-10 scale) and assessment history with notes
• Learning cycle progress (Theory, Practice, Reflection)
• Notes and reflections you write
• Learning activity data (daily practice logs, streaks, heatmap data)
• Goals you create (metric, milestone, or binary) and their progress entries

2.3 AI Features (Premium)

If you use Premium AI features, the following data is sent to our AI service provider (Anthropic/Claude API):

• Your current sub-skill level, assessment history, and problem description (for AI Coaching)
• Your notes, reflections, and learning progress (for personalized coaching)
• Sub-skill ratings (for AI Prioritization)

Important: AI interactions are not stored by our AI service provider beyond the request. We do not use your data for AI model training.

2.4 Speech Recognition

If you use voice input for AI Coaching, SKLLS uses Apple's on-device Speech Recognition framework. Audio is processed locally on your device and is not sent to our servers or any third party.

2.5 Video & Creator Content

SKLLS displays curated links to external video content and creator profiles (e.g., YouTube, Instagram). When you tap these links, you leave SKLLS and the respective platform's privacy policy applies. We do not track which links you open.

2.6 Local Data (SwiftData)

SKLLS stores data locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework:

• All skill and sub-skill data
• Assessment history and notes
• Goals and goal progress entries
• Learning activity logs (daily practice, streaks)
• User preferences (theme, language, reminders, feature toggles)

2.7 Data We Do Not Collect

• We do not use any third-party analytics or tracking services
• We do not collect location data
• We do not display advertising
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties

3. How We Use Your Data

• Authentication: To identify your account and sync data across devices
• Cloud Sync: To store your progress in Supabase (our backend) so you can access it on multiple devices
• AI Features: To provide personalized coaching and skill analysis (Premium only)

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Supabase (hosted in the EU) with Row Level Security (RLS) — only you can access your own data. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.

External content links (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) are displayed in the app but opened in your browser or the respective app. We have no control over data collected by these platforms.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Rectify inaccurate data
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Restrict processing of your data
• Object to processing of your data

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

SKLLS is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email.
